This earring can be dressed up or down. I begin weaving the case for the cushion cut crystal, picking up the beads one by one. I use a netting stitch. I like this style of stitch because it holds the crystal in place but still allows for flashes of color and the back is just as pretty as the front. It feels like metal filigree but, again, without the weight.
