Boldly shaped and intricately woven these are casually elegant. The earring is almost entirely stitched with hundreds of little Japanese seed beads and nylon thread.
I first weave the top diamond shape. I finish the last corner with a Czech glass bead. The Picasso finish give the bead an organic feel. Then I start on the bottom 3/4 circle which I to the diamond and reinforce it all around.
VERY light weight for the size, after all is mostly glass and thread. 2.5 is inches from the top of the hook to the bottom and 1.5 across at the widest point. Antique brass ear wires finish the look.
