Modern and vintage in one charming earring. I weave the bezel around a Czech button using nylon thread and Japanese glass seed beads. The back of this earring is a beautiful as the front. Perfect for year round wear.
Czech beads and buttons are manufactured in small batches in primarily family owned factories. They are essentially artisan produced factory pieces. For that reason there is some variability in size and color. I’ve posted extra pictures so you can see the size difference between these shankless buttons. One is a bit taller and a tiny bit larger. Even these small differences can affect the stitch when I’m weaving the bezel and therefore the finally look.
